The founding partner of the Firm and has represented thousands of clients over the past 30 years in multiple areas of law, including family law, commercial litigation, malpractice, civil rights, appeals, business litigation, criminal defense and personal injury.
Mr. Bruggeman has achieved great success aggressively representing clients against municipalities, insurance companies, police departments and large corporations.
He is a former Naval Aviator, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in 1966 and received his Juris Doctorate from Tulane University in 1974.
Mr. Bruggeman is licensed to practice before all Illinois State Courts and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar.
A partner in the Firm and concentrates his practice in business litigation, business transactions and personal injury. Mr. Hurst is an accomplished trial lawyer with over 15 years experience. He has handled hundreds of matters involving contract disputes, business tort claims, partner separations, real estate and business acquisitions, construction disputes and employment related matters.
He serves on local boards and committees, is a graduate of Lake Forest College in 1990 and received his Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1995.
Mr. Hurst is licensed to practice before all Illinois State Courts and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar.
An associate in the Firm and concentrates his practice in business law, general litigation, real estate, land use and construction law.
Mr. Bouck's training and background as a civil engineer has proved to be invaluable in obtaining favorable solutions for many of his clients' seemingly intractable problems.
Mr. Bouck holds a B.S. from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1997 and received his Juris Doctorate in 2001.
Mr. Bouck is licensed to practice before all Illinois State Courts and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

$900,000 Settlement
In September 2012, the firm successfully settled a products liability case against a manufacturer. The defective product, a refrigerator, caught fire destroying the Plaintiff's personal and business property.
$936,000 Settlement
In March 2013, the firm successfully settled a case that several other law firms had refused to take. The family of a 50 year old construction worker who was killed when struck by a construction form and then died received $936,000, one day after commencement of trial.
$250,000 Settlement
In February 2012, the firm obtained a settlement in the full amount of the insurance policy for a 34 year old mother of two when her vehicle sustained a severe side impact. The Plaintiff suffered wrist fractures in several places.
